Producer company biography

"Movie Drum" Belgrade, a production company registered in 2006, as the successor of the Animation Film Workshop "RAF-A2", established 1992. which from 1993. worked as a permanent workshop for educating children and young people, but also as an animated producer movies.

"Movie Drum" continues its tradition of educating young people in the field of animation, through workshops and lectures in several cultural institutions in Serbia.

The films signed by this production company took part in festivals in Belgrade, Moscow, Wiesbaden, Berlin, Annesy,  Clermont Ferrand, Drama, Kerala, Čačak, Vranje, St. Petersburg, Ottawa, Teheran, Hiroshima, Omsk, Habarovsk...

The "Little Prince on the Lake" from 1995, directed by Vera Vlajić, has been shown at more than thirty domestic and international festivals and has received a number of awards and awards among others: Silver Medal Belgrade, First Prize at the October Children's Art Exhibition, First Prize in Wiesbaden , Grand Prix at the Yugoslav Animation Festival in Čačak.

Animated films "Beesanica", "Glorious Trio", "Small Ads" by Andrej Janevski were shown at several domestic and international festivals, Drama Film Festival, "Early Bird" Sofia, "Golden Vitez" Smolensk. "Mali oglasi" At the Belgrade Festival awarded for the best animation, 2011. Andrej Janevski is the author and films: "The Hat" 2014 and "The Story of a Boy" 2016.

"Movie drum" Belgrade, as the producer, signs animated films by Vera Vlajic, "Women's page of the novel" from 2007, for which she received the "Trophy of the Balkans" in 2007, and "Golden Knight", Moscow, 2008. From this production house are films: "Circle" from 2009, "Flight, Flight aeroplane", 2014. "Not Just Like a Dog Through the Roses" in 2015, also by Vera Vlajić.

The "Movie Drum" was organized by "Animation in Serbia" at the International Festival "Message to Man", Snt. Petrersburg, Russia; "International cartoon and comics festival", Leko, Italy; "Animadrid", Madrid, Spain.

"Movie Drum" also deals with the distribution of  films and  TV programs.

In 2017. “Movie Drum” started to development an feature animated film “Caricature adventures”,  and 2018. started to production film in support of Film Center of Serbia.
